Fuelling your cells

Ever heard of the saying “you are what you eat”? Well I am a huge believer that you can use food as your medicine, or put it this way prevent a lot of diseases and illnesses from controlling what you put into your mouth. Often people are not aware about certain food additives or have never read a food label before purchasing an item. Your body is made up of trillions of cells which are the building blocks for your organs and tissues. Poor diet can damage your cells, cause cells to die and show up later even as cancer. Therefore nutrition plays an extremely important roll in your overall health. Certain nutrients protect your cells and support your energy production.

Feeling tired all the time? Try feeding your cells with whole foods that contain the vitamins and minerals cells need to produce energy for your body to function at its optimal.

You need to make sure you are eating a variety of carbohydrates, proteins and fat to help keep healthy cells. Cell membranes are made of fat, proteins are important components of cells, and carbohydrates supply energy along with vitamins and minerals for the cells to do their job.

So next time you put something in your mouth think about your cells!

I have tried some of the probiotic drinks (kombucha & kiefer water) that Anna has made and they are both healthy and delicious.
